We went to see this in 4DX and it was an experience. I would definitely recommend you go catch this film in 4DX it was so much fun. Not only do the seats move like you’re on a mini roller coaster with the motion of the film, but there’s wind and water and even a pine smell when the film takes you outside through the forest. Great touch. It has vibrating plates on your feet and back making those high energy scenes all that more real. Now I get travel sick quite badly, so I was a bit worried with the motion and on top of that wearing those 3D Glasses, but I was ok through the entire film. I liked that the trailers were played in 3D giving my eyes a chance to adjust, and the motion was just so much fun. You do get moved about a bit so I wouldn’t suggest going for a big dinner before you see the movie, and during the quiet scenes I had a chance to munch on my popcorn and take a drink, but when the high energy scenes come on you’re too engrossed to eat.

All action movies sat in those standard seats now just wont compete with the experience of 4DX. We will definitely be booking the next one in 4DX.

The film in its self was a great watch. With the dinosaur-inhabited island of Isla Nublar in danger of eruption, Claire Dearing and animal behavioral expert Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) have been asked by Benjamin Lockwood to help save as many dinosaurs as possible before the volcano erupts. However the mission isn’t the same for others on the plane as these two would like to think. With the main focus being on Blue who was trained by Owen, as he is the last of his species so they are eager to capture him, as the task has proven difficult by others which is why they need Owen. After capturing blue and being done over by the crew on the plane, the Volcano soon erupts and it becomes a mad dash for Owen, Claire and Franklin (her coder she brought along) to get of the island. Now this is the part that got me right in the feels, not the fact that they managed to escape after a mad run down the hill fleeing from the dinosaurs who were quick on their tails, nor the panic of them being stuck under water in a globe type transportation pod, but it was once they were safely on the boat looking back at the chaos behind them of the dinosaurs they couldn’t help save. As the volcanic lava and smoke quickly took hold and the painful cries of the dinosaur echoing through the smoke as it looked out at them from the beach. *wipes a tear from eye*.

The dinosaurs are taken to Lockwood’s estate who they then find out are being sold off to the highest bidder and not only this but there are also genetically engineered animals too. They meet daisy, Lockwoods Granddaughter, and then chaos erupts as they try to stop the animals leaving the the building.

I really liked this film it had action and emotion, i was on the edge of my seat throughout. The added 4DX on top made this film take on a whole new experience.
